About
My Return to Allah is a Qur’an reflection journal created as a companion for those who seek to remember Allah through His revelation and to reflect upon His words throughout their lives.
This collection includes both the hardcover edition and the PDF edition, offering flexibility in how the journal is used. Some may prefer a physical book to sit with and write in, while others may choose to reflect digitally on their phone, tablet, or other devices. The PDF is also suitable for printing or handwritten reflection, allowing the practice to continue in whatever form best supports the reader.
This journal does not aim to explain the Qur’an, nor does it seek to replace it. Instead, it presents selected verses chosen to invite awareness, reflection, and remembrance. Approximately 38.6% of the Qur’an is included, primarily verses that speak to the heart and inner life of the reader. This selection does not diminish the importance of the rest of the Qur’an, and readers are always encouraged to return to the full Qur’an for complete context and guidance.
Each page offers a verse and open space guided by three simple questions:
-
How do I feel about this?
-
What do I need to do about this?
-
What am I thankful for?
There is no commentary, no interpretation, and no intermediary voice — only the words of Allah and the space to reflect upon them.
This journal is not something to be finished. It is meant to be returned to, revisited, and lived with. Reflection is not limited to a season or a phase of life; it is a lifelong journey that continues until the end of time. These pages exist to support remembrance — again and again — for as long as one continues to return to Allah and His words.
